The families of young people missing after a devastating fire at a establishment in a Swiss winter destination are confronting an painful wait for confirmed information and appealing for clues about their family members publicly.

The fire engulfed the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the Swiss Alps of the Valais region, in the small hours of New Year's Day. Circulated footage show the roof structure being engulfed in flames as bottles with sparklers are held aloft.
