Spurs supporters who jeered goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario were told afterwards "those individuals cannot be real Tottenham fans" by boss Frank.

Spurs let in two goals in the first six minutes to lose 2-1 to their opponents, registering their 10th Premier League home loss of 2025.

But the primary talking point was the visitors' next score when Vicario lost possession far outside his box.

The goalkeeper ventured out to deal with a high pass and carried the ball near the sideline.

However, rather than kicking it into touch, the Italian turned and attempted to clear away, but slipped as the ball glanced off Harry Wilson and was collected by Josh King.

The forward passed the ball off to Wales midfield player Wilson, who curled a shot into the goal from the touchline measured at thirty-six point six metres.

Moments afterwards when the ball came to the keeper again, some Spurs supporters booed him.

The team were booed off at half-time, with the club 2-0 behind, and once more at the final whistle.

One of those booing sessions truly angered the manager.

"It came to my attention some of our fans reportedly jeered the situation and booed after, which, in my opinion is completely unjustifiable," the Danish manager commented about the supporters' response to his shot-stopper.

"[They] can't be real Spurs fans that do that. Fair enough booing after the game, fine, but when we are playing, we are supporting each other, we are with each other going forward."

Tete had given Fulham a early lead before Wilson's strike – with Kudus netting for Tottenham in an better second-half showing.

Former top-flight keeper Hart remarked that the next score was "completely preventable".

"I do appreciate the supporters' frustration," Hart continued. "I am aware the role Vicario is performing. He is a excellent team player, he's a true leader in the dressing room but ultimately you are going to be assessed by your actions.

"The keeper was heavily involved in what turned out to be the winning score."

'It is In the Game, I Can Handle It'

Italian national team the keeper is in his third season with Tottenham.

He said following the game that he had to take the feedback.

"That goal was a mistake of mine, I take accountability for it," he said.

"My aim was to kick the ball far and I just struck the ball in a poor manner. That made an more difficult mountain to climb."

He stated receiving jeers "is part of football".

"I am mature, how can I respond?" he continued. "We cannot be affected by the situation in the stands. The fans have the right to do as they see fit.

"It's on the team to stay more composed, to focus on our own performance. The team is lacking in calmness and poise to overturn results. Today is a bad defeat and it is hard to accept."

'It Shocked Me No One Went Back to the Goal Line'

In spite of the keeper's mistake, it was not an easy goal for Wilson to convert.

Actually it was the second longest-range top division goal of the season – following Tyler Adams' 43.3 yard strike for the Cherries against the Black Cats, which interestingly too came on the same day.

The goalscorer said he was "somewhat surprised" that he still had an open net to target.

Ten moments elapsed between Vicario coming out of his area and the midfielder shooting – which was 5 moments following the kick.

"I felt like the goalkeeper was away from the area for ages," Wilson said.

"It amazed me none of the back four went back to the line. When none of them defended the goal, my eyes lit up somewhat.

"[Destiny] Udogie fell too, which allowed me a little additional time. Then it was all about attempting to achieve the right connection and place it on target. I had a good feeling, as soon as it came off my boot, that it was heading in."

'When You're in a Bad Spell, All Appears to Work Against You'

Although the keeper's mistake dominated coverage, this was an all-round bad performance for Spurs to continue their home ground struggles.

This was their 10th home loss of the year in the Premier League, a joint team record along with nineteen ninety-four and two thousand and three.

The side still have home games against Frank's former club the Bees and champions Liverpool to play before the end of the season.

Just a single of those victories have occurred after Frank replaced Ange Postecoglou in the off-season.

"When you're down 2-0 after six minutes, there is a huge challenge to overcome," stated Frank.

"When you're in a bad spell, everything appears to go against you as well – the opening was a redirected attempt, the next is a mistake from the keeper.

"This result leaves us in a position where we have lost an additional match. Every game has a unique story, today we were defeated in the early stages.

"We simply need to keep working. The later period was much better and hopefully an aspect we can utilize to learn."

Spurs have lost 4 consecutive at home London derbies for the initial time in the Premier League.

Furthermore they are averaging 9.5 shots and three point two shots on target per game in the division – their poorest rates on file in a one campaign (since at least 2003-04).
