The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of heroes, and a gripping narrative including divine entities, evil spirits, and dark forces expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Revealing details for Episode 3 of this adventure lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to begin their own adventure, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

With a large ensemble, it was obvious from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, connecting the individual narratives before dividing into three separate parties: Fighters, Schemers, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might appear mismatched, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the group knows exactly where to head next after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, attacking the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The antagonist then settled his liabilities and fled to a fortified location in the northern region, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in the northern area and cautions that it is a dangerous location.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to execute the target and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • However, their position as key figures in House Halovar could enable the team access areas they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that govern the city for a range of causes, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The healer betrayed House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This means them few options but to journey toward Timmony in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to the recent installment’s post-show segment, we learn that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight players to round up the Seekers and Schemers tables.

Fans can expect finding out which characters will be in which group in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
